Eight face off in Portmore domino competition

 
The final set of matches in the preliminary round of the Colin Fagan Portmore domino competition, sponsored by the member of parliament for South East St Catherine, will be played tomorrow.

The matches on are (home teams named first) Ken's Wildflower vs Westchester United, Garveymeade vs Waterford United, Portsmouth United vs the unbeaten Passagefort United and Portmore Lane Tigers vs Westport United. All matches start at 11:30 a.m.

Meanwhile, Ken's Wildflower who have lost only one of their six matches so far, rebounded with a close 300-295 win over home team Waterford last Sunday. Ken's Wildflower were beaten by Passagefort on the previous Sunday.

In the two other matches played, Portsmouth drubbed Westport 300-273 at Westport, while Westchester defeated Garveymeade 300-292.

The match between home team Passagefort and Portmore Lane Tigers had to be postponed. It has been rescheduled for this evening at Passagefort starting at 6:00.

After tomorrow's final round, the top four teams in the standings will advance to the semi-finals. At this stage only Passagefort and Ken's Wildflower are certain to advance.
