Fraser Creates History - First Caribbean Baller To Win Golden Boot In Central America

SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador (CMC):

Jamaica's national midfielder, Sean Fraser, has created history by becoming the first Caribbean player to win the Golden Boot in a Central American league.

Fraser, who plays for Alianza, has finished as the top scorer in the El Salvador premier league with 15 goals.

Alianza, one of the most popular and successful clubs in El Salvador, finished second in the regular season and will now play CD FAS in a two-way semi-final.

Fraser is no stranger to creating history, having been a member of the first Jamaica team to qualify for a FIFA Youth World Cup Finals - the Under-17 edition in New Zealand in 1999.

Two years later, Fraser was on the second Jamaica youth team to play in a World Cup Final - the Under-20 championship in Argentina in 2001.
