Haile Selassie lead in bMobile badminton

Haile Selassie High girls registered their third successive 5-0 victory in the Eastern Region of the bMobile Schools' Badminton League with victory over Wolmer's on Wednesday.

Their other victories against Holy Childhood High on Monday and St. Jago last Friday put them on top of Zone 2 with 15 points, with one match to play against zone favourites, St. Hugh's High, in this round.

Two other scheduled girls matches were not played.

These were St. Andrew High versus Dinthill Technical, which was postponed, and Ardenne High against St. Anne's High, who have indicated that they will be claiming the points as the Ardenne hall was not available for play when they arrived for the match.

In boys' action, Campion defeated St. Jago 5-0 in Zone 2. Two other teams in this zone are also on five points. They are St. Jago, who defeated Dinthill 5-0 on Monday and Haile Selassie put away St. Jago, by the same 5-0 scoreline last Friday.
